The Advocacy Committee shall be responsible for recruiting and vetting qualified candidates; recommend to the membership endorsements of candidates; monitor voting practices of elected/appointed officials; monitor legislative issues of concern at the municipal, county, central committee, and legislative district levels. Recommend Subsidiary Committees or Task Forces when needed. The committee by majority agreement is authorized to spend up to $100 for the benefit of the CCMRA. Expenditures exceeding this amount must be proposed to a quorum of the members at a regular meeting. The administrative procedures for operation shall be developed by the Advocacy Committee and published as a Standing Rule per Roberts Rules of Order.

The Executive Committee shall consist of the Board of Directors and Committee Chairs. This committee will meet to outline meeting agendas and address issues that cannot wait until the next meeting of the CCMRA.
